Melissa writes stories for kids who want to sniff out adventures in the desert, lose themselves in their next favorite tale, and laugh when something totally ridiculous scares them under the bed. 

Bio

Melissa is a member of SCBWI and the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ. Currently an editor of curriculum for higher education, she also has worked as a technical writer and in public and academic libraries. When she’s not writing or editing, you can find her escaping to Disneyland, playing board games (animal-themed ones are her favorite), or doing a reading/movie club with her nieces and nephews. Harry Potter, anyone?
